PROJECT OF EXHIBITION

1. The CHAIN group, New York, presents:
New sculptures, paintings, graphics, moving pictures, installations in the show LANGUAGE OF STONE

3. Concept of the project:
The fundamental life-giving elements of the Universe are: air, flame, water, and stone. The forms of stones, their changing shapes, different quality and relationships with the other world are part of the dialog between Man and Stone, Flame and Stone, Air and Stone, Eternity and Stone. Stone looks at Man, but it does not see Man. The frequency of the stone’s perception is 10 images per year. Stone sees only the architecture and the works of art, but not Artist. Moving subjects do not exist for the stone. The aesthetic displacement of the regular balance in the dialog: Man – Stone, in this project aims to show that some spiritual substance exists behind each Stone.

4. The installation LANGUAGE OF STONE
Size:
6 by 16 feet- on the floor
7 by 10 feet- on the wall
Technique:
Wild stones, mirror, plastic, fabric.

The comprehensive space of the Stone’s contacts with other elements of the Universe – air, water and flame placed on the huge mirror, which symbolized human perception.

It is a space for the viewer where he could be the main character in the dialog with stones and could observe from the different points the drama of the logical incompleteness which is actually a part of the human system of world outlook.

The viewer could have a possibility through physical presence and his own imagination to feel the collision between the inner symmetrical space of the Universe elements which give birth to the constant energy of the cosmic asymmetry.
